You can now message attendees via Email or SMS with updates or important information about your event directly from the Evey Events App. You can find this new feature on the Attendees page right next to the "Export All Attendees" button.
On the "Attendee Messages" page you can click "Create a message Template" to start creating the message you want to send out to your attendees. Using the template editor you can create a template name allowing you identify the message easier in the future, edit the subject and content of the message, create a call-to-action, and see a live preview of your message on the left as you make these changes. You can also choose the audience for your message using the search bar and filters found at the bottom of the template editor allowing you to provide only relevant information to specific groups of attendees.
Once you have your message created you can click save, which won't send your message yet but will keep this template saved for when you are ready to send the message to your attendees. Your template will be accessible anytime from the "Attendee Messages" page. Before sending to your attendees you can send yourself a test message from the bottom of the template editor to ensure the template preview is exactly what you want your attendees to receive.
When you are satisfied with your template, and ready to send it out to your attendees you can click the "Send to attendees" found at the top of the template editor. After you click send you can
After your message is sent you can track it's progress as it's sending and if any issues arise during delivery you will get a pop up letting you know which attendee(s) did not receive their message and a reason why.
When checking the attendee details you will also see the delivery status of every message along with the ticket delivery status for that particular attendee. This allows you to track and ensure your attendees are getting all relevant information.
This feature is still in Beta so if you have any questions or issues please reach out and let us know.
