If you have more than one event that all require the same customizations then this feature can save you a lot of time! Instead of making your customizations to each event individually every time you need to make a change you can configure an event to share each template type with another event.
The templates that support sharing across events are the online ticket page, PDF ticket, Apple Wallet Pass, Email/SMS ticket notification, and Message email/SMS templates. These template settings can be configured on the Event Settings page for each event, under the Tickets and Notifications tabs.
For each Ticket Page, PDF Ticket, and Apple Wallet Pass template, there is a separate More button on the bottom of their settings card where you can follow and tap the "Use shared template" option to bring up a dialog. The Notifications sections has just one option to select under the More button at the top of the page. In here you can select the event to share the template with.
Once you've selected a shared template all changes made to it from the settings area of any shared events will make the same changes for all shared events.
